Children in seven central North Carolina counties will explore science firsthand at local libraries through Science in the Summer, a unique educational program introduced in the state last year. Science in the Summer is sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline and administered, in cooperation with each library, by Morehead Planetarium and Science Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
