Carolina offers admission to 7,571 first-year students from a record 29,486 applicants E-mail

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions has offered admission to 7,571 outstanding first-year students. The admitted candidates were chosen from a record 29,486 applicants—an increase of 24 percent over last year and 47 percent over five years ago.
