|Evan Wolfson to speak on marriage amendment debate Nov. 28|

Attorney and gay marriage advocate Evan Wolfson will address “Why Marriage Matters and What To Do About It” at noon Nov. 28 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
The talk, hosted by the UNC School of Law’s Center for Law and Government, will be in Room 5042 of Van-Hecke Wettach Hall.
Wolfson is founder and executive director of Freedom to Marry, which leads the campaign to overturn the Defense of Marriage Act and is working across the country to educate the public about why marriage matters to same-sex couples and their families. Wolfson also wrote the book “Why Marriage Matters: America, Equality, and Gay People’s Right to Marry.”
