Tuesday (April 24) Following up the White House media advisory about Tuesday’s appearance by President Barack Obama (http://uncnews.unc.edu/content/view/5267/68/), here are some additional details about covering the event: Logistical information and credentials: UNC has posted a link to the White House media advisory, http://uncnews.unc.edu/content/view/5267/68/. ALL MEDIA must be credentialed through Ryan Colpaart of the White House advance team to cover the president’s speech. Contact him at 202-757-9927. Additional note on media parking: NO media vehicles will be allowed to park on Cameron Avenue, including the area near the Old Well, until after President Obama leaves the UNC campus. Note about Fallon show: The taping of “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon Show” on campus is NOT open to the general public or the media, only to UNC students.
