The American Indian Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is initiating a series of tribal leadership workshops aimed at bringing together members of American Indian communities to discuss issues of concern with local, state and national policy experts and campus researchers. The initial workshop will be held June 25-26 at the William and Ida Friday Continuing Education Center in Chapel Hill. It was developed for the North Carolina Commission on Indian Affairs executive staff, executive committee and committee chairs to allow them to revisit the Commission’s strategic planning document, mission and goals; working with 501(c)3 organizations; and day-to-day operations. |
